Isn't that they have completed input and receipt issuance for cases received by certain date (late Aug.?) according to their update? How come so many July filers still have not received receipts? Weird!
No, it seems as per the latest USCIS update (on Sept 7, 2007) the NSC has completed issuing receipt notices till July 28, 2007, and TSC till July 2, 2007.

I know you don't want us to use paypal - but I think that might be delaying lot of contributions.
Here is my case - I have a very hectic work schedule -so by the time I go home I forget to write and send a check. If I could do paypal then would be no problem as I can do from any where - work - from phone - anywhere.
Just a thought.. I have been planning to send $50 or so but kept on forgetting. Don't get me wrong but telling the truth here.

I AM going to face them, confront them, demand them to provide justice, if not I want them to REFUND every penny i have paid so far. If this "I AM" becomes "WE", half the battle won. Hmm, urs is a unique case, but as far as i can tell u need to have FP done, that is the process, your lawyers may be able to help, have u contacted them?
Paper filing is fine and its not slow, usually paper filers dont get FP notices.
I did contact my lawyer. They have put in a SR but that's not helping. I was hoping the EAD renewal will kick it but looks like paper based doesn't kick it..
Argh!! This waiting game seems helpless..

IV effort needs 50 thousand dollars to make sure we can meet our immediate needs and also make a big impact via this advocacy day event. There are several large and small expenses like booking hotel conference room near Capitol hill for organizing the event/situation room, Organizing reception for lawmakers, their staffers, and administration officials to attend, creating advocacy packets for each appointment taken, advocacy firm fees for helping out with a large event like this etc. We can plan more ideas like Press briefing event, full page ads in national newspapers if we can have sufficient resources. This event will most certainly bring our issues to the national center stage and help us get much needed immigration relief in the months ahead. I think "speaking change" versus working together to bring about change is where we all need to think. All of us have our own priorities and including me sometimes miss the point and sit in the sidelines. Make no assumptions, if we can't come together or put in hours of work specifically to support IV, everything will just remain a dream. We need to start taking initiatives and working towards a common goal to fix the broken system. We may disagree on things here and there and IV cannot support or take every position dear to us as an organization. We need to think as a community for the community and not purely my case or your case:)

i do not understand the fuss about it. why do we over react to it. Big law firms like FDBL ( fragmon) all said the lawsuit is not winnable no chance , DOS can change VB any time as per federal law. whats the use of all this??

You being US citizen or president of USA does not mean much to us! I have requested you to show me "so called 30 day rule" on any of the official web site (For example USCIS). I have asked you this several times. Every time You just direct us to some lawyer's web site/university web site and expect us to believe them.

I was told by IO at info pass that my case was with an officer on Aug 05 , got CPO on 25
i had a SLUD on AUG 21 ,

In most cases the next action after CPO mail was within 5-7 business days. So keep your fingers crossed for the welcome mail. Follow the postman for your card arrival.
For me it happend within a span 11 regular days from CPO mail. 5th day after CPO mail, I got welcome notice in the mail and then 6th day from there I got my cards in the mail.
By the way, the online status still stays and it is in post decision activity. That is 12 days after I received my physical cards.
