Hi,
This is my first post to the forum, and i am not if this is place to post ?, i have two years left on my H1 B (into 4 yr) and my company is going to file for my labour this year (Hopefully) in EB2 category. I would like to support the community, I am in favor of HR 6039 for STEM and also EB3 category.

Listen, everyone is frustrated but to take your lives for a GC is crazy. If you guys are so depressed please seek medical help. If you have kids they will be US citizens they can sponsor you 18 years later so why are you that frustrated. When your wife is on H4 that is the best time to have kids because she is at home and you don't have to pay daycare. It is the woman in H1B that my sympathies are with bc they cannot go part-time or get more that 6 week maternity leave. So please buckle up or seek help, I don’t think your logic makes sense.
I tend to agree that suicidal thoughts borne out of frustration is totally crazy. Look at the Irish. They are illegals, yet they go to capitol Hill and themselves talk to lawmakers. And then probably in the evening, they might have drunk to that. Do you think they think like that...?:
Yes, if suicide is something that crosses your mind due to GC frustration, I think you need to seek professional help from a therapist. Because mental health is of higher priority than immigration status.
Putting off raising a family, having kids etc UNTIL you get GC is also not wise. Do you really want to tie that important decision of life with the process that's decided in the halls of congress?
Another thing...if you are from India and China, then I suggest you do this. Go to Barnes and Noble, and pick up one of the two books (or both).

Both are written on how hundreds and even thousands of US citizens(Citizens, not GC holders) are going back to their home countries after living in USA because home offers same opportunities in addition to being a the place where you grew up. The case should not have been accepted if the lady does not have constitutional rights. Lets see if they reject the case on this basis after listening to Tancredo.

Quota based on race argument is fallacious. For example, Bangladesh and Pakistan are not limited by the quota. However, they are the of the same ethnic/racial background as people from India.
Thats my point. Why are pakistanis getting green cards and nobody is saying they have taken jobs away from Americans? So many come to US on visa free travel, work 6 months undocumented from european countries, yet they are the first to get the GCs while Indians abuse B1, they abuse H1. How come only Indians abuse everything no one else abuses anything?

I really like this idea.... Actually if north Indians didn't rule Central government in India for such a long time (before PV Narasimha Rao), south Indians would be better off in India itself !!! Then north Indians would be citizens of USA in no time, and South Indians (in India) would have been happy about it!!!

Why SKULL bill ? As a high level manager I have learned after years of experience that you need to use good sense of humor, satirize when confronted with insanities and very stressful situations.

You can still go to court against the congress, that is what is the freedom of constitution in this country.
Since Obama administration has a open door policy, why don't we take a appointment and discuss this issue ?

You should be proud of what you are doing. Even if you dont do a great job, You should try your best and you should still believe that you are doing it to the best of your ability and no one can do it better. But the way you talk, you seem to be a big loser and one of those, who feel lucky to have got your H1B. Probably, USA wont lose anything when one some like you leave. But Dont talk for the folks here. If you think you are below average, thanks for accepting it. Anyway, we would have known that from your shameless post. Most of us here deserve it and are special and are destined for greater achievements.

Hello friends,
I was wondering about the FP notice time frame. I had applied for 485/EAD/AP on July 2nd at NSC which later got transferred to TSC. Receipts indicate that notice date is 8/27.
I was wondering how many days does it take to get FP notice from the 485 notice date? data indicates that some of the TSC guys who have notice dates of 8/29 have already got their FP notices scheduled for mid september.
