I don't think we are wasting energy/time by identifying gaps and answering questions to folks who want to know more about what exactly are we talking about here. Moving on and gaining more and more support etc., all these things need to be done in parallel.

I took a printout of the receiver's signature image and the tracking information from the Fedex website just in case.
My attorney also mentioned that he submitted my case to the NSC liaison (I think he is referring to the AILA liaison of the NSC center) for follow up to see if they can help confirm the status of my application.
I'll keep you posted on the progress.

The visecral reaction to my thread (not threat!) has only gone to prove my hypothesis - self interest is the ONLY binding factor amongst 'highly skilled' workers
No one can claim to be 'superior' by virtue of their EB classification and take refuge under the current system by preaching that "it is what it is, you accepted it, so play by it!". What a sudden love fest for a system that you cared to fix not too long ago? So, what changed? The sudden realization that there are a few erudite and vocal EB3 I's that can speak their mind and ask the difficult questions?!
Willwin is a rare gem that could see the point in my earlier thread ... Others, my post is not 'ugly', it is the reflection that you see when I hold a mirror up to you. Dont like it? Dont blame me.
Others are scared sh*it that the real deal will be revealed. Just goes to prove that if the current system goes to serve YOUR narrow self interest, you will go to no end to justify it AND defend it... even at the cost of creating deep divides amongst a larger group. Suddenly, your sense of outrage has been channeled against EB3 I's seeking a voice and not against the 'system' that you claimed to care fixing. Nice. A chameleon would be proud to welcome you to the family.
Dont worry. Sleep easy, no one is going to call Ron or a shrink. I have exposed the duplicity that defines your being ... and you can rest easy knowing that your sense of 'logical reasoning and moral outrage' cannot stand scrutiny on a simple b-board, let alone a court of law ...
Lets get together to help fix this problem. Let EB3 I's find their voice and make the appeals that they need to. They DO NOT need the approval or outrage of EB2's trying to protect their new found turf. Get the drift?
Many EB3 I's have waited 5+ years in dead end jobs and possibly single incomes only to see EB2 come hither and walk easy. No jealousy or blame. Just the hard question to those that holler back "dont complaint EB2 was meant to be a higher category" ... want to respond to a "higher calling" ... i.e., holding up your petitions to objective scrutiny not prejudiced by narrow goals?
After all, one would find that MOST work done by EB2 I's does not really require a Masters degree. Just ask a high school Java whizkid.
I rest my case and will not waste my time responding to emotional outbursts or getting dragged into the cesspit of poor logic. Got it?

I filed late June at NSC trs to Texas and received on July 2nd. Just received my RN yesterday for my 485. On line it says that my ead has been approved and the notice went out on the 25th.
Did your checks cashed before you got the receipts? or receipts much faster?? Congrats!

hope that means they are willing to talk about giving EAD. If we get EAD all the lawsuits will be withdrawn. The law does not say AOS applications should not be accepted when there are no visa numbers available, the law only says AOS cannot be approved when visa numbers are not available. USCIS internal regulations says they will not accept AOS applications when priority date is not current. by now its quite apparent that USCIS has broken a lot of there own internal regulations just to make sure the visa numbers are used up before july 2 2007. Then can easily accomodate the EAD for july filers. It all depends upon the pressure exerted on USCIS and DOS

Well, its ones own point of view. My point of view is, a bird in hand is better than two in the bush. Worst case, they'll revoke ur 485 but cannot deny u re-entry to the US based on ur H1B. But if u r on EAD, I'm not sure. Once u r back in the US, u can always dispute the denial by canceling ur Canadian PR and submitting the canceled documents alongwith ur dispute as proof which should definitely put ur GC application back in the reckoning. Again, the question is, is it worth taking the risk? Well, it is...because u didn't get ur Canadian PR just by sitting at home. U did the Finger Printing, U did the Indian PC, U took the english test, U did the medicals, spent so much of ur time, money and energy in the process. Now, by just foregoing all those efforts do u wanna have 100% hopes that ur GC wont be rejected and lose out on ur Canadian option as well? Think about it.
I dont have H1B stamp and i have already used AP, what if they revoke my 485 and ask me to go for stamping and i get stuck for month to receive clearance, i dont know any one in canada and staying in hotel and waiting for clearance could cause me 1000s of $ , not to say, i will not get my pay because my employer didnt do my canadian PR.
I agree, i did spend a lot fo money doing canadian PR process, i did hire a lawyer to do all these and cost me $5000+ but I guess its not worth taking the risk and losing all my savings, I think this is called destiny, being so close to something still not able to get that, meaning it was not meant for me....

Not everyone who contributes will post their contribution in the forum. Would it be possible from IV to get the latest contribution totals?

I don't think its much different from what is posted. Only one time contributions are being considered for this event.
I have a shared doc with StarSun and all known ones have been accounted for the above total.
Only one month left to achieve our funding goals.
It does look like there are only a few hundred (~200) willing to actively participate for the good of others. About 0.04 % of all EB2, EB3 filers.
One possible strategy.......
Dividing 50,000 into that, it will be great if you hardworking people, fighting for legal immigrants, can touch about $200-400 each,
while the rest watch from the sidelines and cheer for us :), and also debate & analyze spiritedly.....
I'm at $300 now for this event

Actually You have to PHYSICALLY present in Canda for 2 years in a 5 year period since the date landed.

For me, since my 140 was approved in TSC, my attorney sent 485 to TSC.
