No one knows what they look at and won't look at while deciding on your I485. If you one of the "chosen" one, you may get called for personal interview and I have heard lots of horror stories about the stuff they asked at the interview. At the same most of the people get the GC without hitch.
So, the morale of the story is stop worrying. There is nothing you can do/prepare to effect decision on your I-485. Since you have played by book and assuming you don't have any law related issues, you should be fine.

So, I would appreciate if someone could let me know if there are any disadvantages process-wise when it comes to I-485 adjudication on a pre-approved labor.

I just receive the best Christmas gift I could ever ask for?? My name check and background check is clear after 2 years.....Now I'm receive my GC so I can start traveling......All my interview was approve so now they are (order card)....Enjoy ur Holiday.......

Called 6 different operators at the USCIS and got different answers (atleast they are consistently inconsistent!)
2 Said it is perfectly fine as long as the amount is correct
3 said they prefer seperate checks but if the amount is correct they will accept it
1 said they will reject the whole package.
On a lighter note i spoke to one really sweet lady when my call was escalated. All i wanted to ask was about the checks, but she (very enthusiastically) looked up my information and informed me that i was not in the system yet and actually apologised to me. Now i KNOW she looked it up coz she got my middle and company names right even without my telling her that. She even said she has received a few calls today and the guy b4 me was a lucky caller as he was in the system as of Aug 8.

Thanks for your advice guys, I have found a university which allows people to go on CPT from 1st semester itself. They charge $3000 for this arrangement (along with $2400 for 6 credit hours) and their MBA/MS program is weekend only classes. I expect to convert to F1 and work with my present employer on CPT upon the my H1B expiration in Sept' 09 (I don't want to recapture the 2 months in Indian vacation). Classes start in 1st week of Oct 2009. The worst part is my course load will be really heavy as I have to continue with my regular M.B.A coursework in my present university.

I support this move. If it takes 10 years to get the GC after filing I-485, then we should get 10-year EAD/AP. Why should we pay every year throusands of dollar.

4. If transfer is possible, Can I start working based on the H1B Transfer Receipt Notice ? or Should I wait for the H1B Transfer Approval Notice to work ?

Family based, majority (90%) is done by consular processing. AOS mostly for EB based. Petition for relatives is from the mother country, who is not present in USA for AOS. Yes - I agree with andy garcia

Yeah.. the quality is so bad -- I'm wondering how this is possible, right now at least. They would have to be space invader to get a pic that would be readable. I'm chalking this up to media spin to make people panic.
